Imperial Industries unveils agile, multi-purpose Hydro 3600 Hybrid Excavator

WAUSAU, WIS. – August 28, 2018 – Imperial Industries’ new Hydro 3600 Hybrid Excavator is the workhorse truck for the business owner who wants to say “yes” to every kind of job – from digging trenches to hauling septic waste, locating gas lines and everything in between – and perform those jobs efficiently and profitably.

For decades, Imperial Industries has built reliable, smartly crafted and hard-working vacuum tanks, trailers and portable restroom service units in the business. Now, the hybrid excavator is bringing that same manufacturing expertise to entirely new markets. The one-of-a-kind truck is built on a 2018 Peterbilt Paccar MX13 body and features 3,600-gallon hauling and 215-gallon on-board capacities, a 1600 CFM pump and three-stage lift hoist, with enough nimbleness to operate within the confines of a car wash and is available in code and non-code.

To increase versatility even further, the Hybrid Excavator includes Imperial’s exclusive hydro-jet attachment to pressure wash areas prior to operation, and an optional 16-function wireless remote. The remote’s functions, intended to minimize time spent on the job site and maximize the number of jobs handled per day, include full control of boom, jetter, blower and vacuum settings.

In addition to the new Hybrid 3600 Hydro Excavator, Imperial Industries commercial product portfolio includes vacuum tanks and trailers units specially designed for grease, septic and hazardous waste materials, as well as a full inventory of common and custom replacement parts. Imperial’s tanks are available in steel, aluminum and stainless steel, and classified as either a Baseline, Stock or Custom Series unit, depending on operator preferences and add-ons, like one-of-a-kind paint jobs.
